Items:
Q. A rock. I found a rock. Why???
A. At first I just saw these as a pointless waste of space, but I read in another thread that it helps when it comes to a situation where you lose an item, either by a leak, a flood, or bandits. Just acts as a decoy/extra item. But if you really need the space, just toss it. It is also rumored that you can throw it at a bandit, but I have yet to be able to do this.
Q. I found an item in the searching game that I can sell. How do I do this?
A. The same way you use any other item in your inventory. Just click on it, click on the thumbs up sign, and the coin amount will be added to your total. You do not need to be in a general store or in Oregon to do this.
Q. How do I sell a trade good?
A. It is automatically sold once you reach Oregon.
Q. What do I do with the trade goods?
A. Trade goods are sold automatically once you reach Oregon. I would recommend that you buy as many trade goods at the beginning of the trail as possible because they get more expensive the farther along the trail you go. However, don't over fill your wagon with trade goods as you will want spaces in your inventory for other items.
Q. How do I use my items?
A. When using your items make sure that you click on the item in your inventory then move your mouse out of the way. This will cause the item description to move and allow you to see the thumbs up/use button. Click this button and it will allow you to use your item. For medicine there is an additional step in which your ill or injured party members are back-lit in green, from there you can choose which person to heal by clicking on them.
Q. What are the different items that stores and peddlers sell?
A. Skye is making a list of all of the items that are sold and found in the game. It isn’t complete yet but it is very thorough and organized. spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Ap5kYBEv9I1edGZPbWdNYWFoaVRBaHY2TWg4OW5BY2c&hl=en&authkey=CMbt5ZQG#gid=2
